Throwing in the towel...

Okay guys, that's about as many rounds of tag that Mica is playing; I'm putting her on probation for the next five posts.

Now back to our scheduled programming :)

i search: my heart and pray for God’s guidance
i wonder: if I'll have another niece or nephew and why I'm not taller :)
i regret: wasting time doing trivial things, not taking certain aspects of the Christian life seriously
i love: my family, church, and the beautiful weather right now
i ache: in my throat and not because I'm going to cry
i care: about those that I love
i always: clean things, wake up with my hair looking perfect
i am not: very silly or tall
i believe: that the Bible is the Word of God; that my family loves me more than anyone ever will; that the Lord is sovereign over His creation
i dance: sometimes but I usually have to be taught the moves
i sing: low and it certainly doesn't sound as pretty as some
i cry: when someone has hurt me
i don't always: speak as kindly or compassionately as I should

i write: poetry occasionally
i never: wear shoes around the house
i write: because it helps me clear my mind
i listen: to classical music when I'm sad, to country when I'm happy, and hymns anytime

i can usually be found: in the kitchen doing something or reading

i am happy about: all of the things in my life right now
i imagine: what my life will be like 10 years from now

Tagged again

I got tagged again by Jasmine at Joyfully Home!

For this tag, I have to state six things that I've learned this year and then tag six people. I think I'm really going to like this one since it probably won't make me very hungry afterward, like the fall tag. Here we go!

• I learned that every girl in church is crazy over Jasmine's 21-month old brother, Asher (who isn't? He's the greatest!)
• I learned that 150 extra visitors at church, after the FIC conference, is a lot of people
• I learned that Algebra 2 and Geometry aren't as hard as you think
• I learned a lot about Genesis 1-11 and 1 John; thank you, pastors Voddie and Paul!
• I learned that taking Mia's (my niece) thumb away from her and putting a band aid on it is a bad idea; she's an avid thumb-sucker.
• I also learned that hurricanes are really cool to watch except when your electricity is out

Trust me, I learned much more practical things this year but I only had six points to expound on. Lets see, who should I tag?

Fall tag

1.) Favorite Smell... Pumpkin pie baking in the oven or gingerbread cookies


2) Favorite Food... Potato soup

4.) Favorite drink... Pumpkin spice lattes, hot tea, and Jones cream soda

6.) Favorite place to visit... We used to go visit cousins but the past two years we've done it with friends from church, which is even better

13.) Favorite Haunted Place (haunted as in frequently visited)... The chair by my dad's desk because it's perfect to curl up with a blanket, sip hot tea, read a book, and it's right next to a window

14.) Favorite Food at Thanksgiving Dinner... There's so many good things it's hard to choose! Probably hot rolls and mashed potatoes.

15.) Favorite Pie... Pumpkin


16.) Favorite Fall Hobby... Planning Thanksgiving dinner and baking all sorts of goodies

17.) Favorite Fall Memory... One year, we had some friends over for dinner and we all played a game called Guestures. We were all so full of food and laughed more than we played the game.

18.) Favorite Fall Sight... Leaves falling, cookies baking, Baucham boys in matching outfits

19.) Overall Favorite Fall Thing... Making dinner, playing any game outside, fellowshipping

20.) Favorite Season... It depends where I'm at. I love winter and spring but I don't like summer except in California
