New Discoveries...

...That hydrangeas bloom little bitty flowers....

...that we have a one and only tomato on our ginormous plant...

...that Mia has a few little watermelon sprouts that are growing...

...that bluebonnets could bloom in May(and a little bit of June).

The one that was store bought has faded away, but my own little sprouts were just staring to bloom in this picture.

Bloom

I know, I know, you think the picture above is the seeds I planted in March. Well, their not. The seeds I planted February is the picture below. Cute and small.

I have around six of the these cute and small sprouts.

Here are the two plants side by side.

This is Nate.
When Nate saw that I had tilled the ground and made it flat and level, he was suddenly interested in being outside and running his dump truck over the perfect dirt patch. Then, after he started to dig in the perfect dirt patch, we then came to an agreement. He has his one third of dirt, and I have the two thirds, neatly fenced in. So, we get along.

Ah, bluebonnets.

I'm Diggin' in the Dirt...

I love bluebonnets. I know, you must be thinking I'm a typical Texan, but during March-April (my birthday, btw) I simply love the drive to and fro to Austin; it is SO beautiful! So, I decided to plant some bluebonnet seeds I have been saving since we went to the Bluebell factory in Brenham.

Broke up the ground and pulled up the weeds.

Ok, I was a little suspicious that I simply bought little pebbles instead of seeds.

I dug those holes, then I realized I had a LOT more seeds than that.
Just keep digging, just keep digging.

All done!

Side note: When I was digging, I was mostly using my hands, and as I was digging, I found these little encased bug things and something very much like little roaches... and I was digging with my hands... I used gloves after that.
I'll try to remember to post pictures once they bloom. :)
